Hi, I am Kortney Meszewski and here is a little bit about myself. I grew up on a farm in a small town. I was a typical tomboy and farm kid. I played outside, shot bb guns, had cats, dogs, chickens and geese. I have three older brothers and my parents are divorced. Growing up you could find me playing sports like volleyball, basketball and softball. On the weekends when it was nice I would go fishing and if I ever caught anything I would be sure to bring it back and throw it in my softball coach’s front yard. Just some small town shenanigans. Fast forward after High School I went to a community college but honestly, it wasn’t for me. I had Jordan at the age of 23 and that was when I became a mom. That was what I needed and was missing in my life, having a child. Being a mom was the right thing for me at the right time. From then I had miscellaneous jobs such as a school para, correctional officer at a jail, and a paralegal for a criminal law attorney. I really didn’t get into makeup until I was 28. I joined my first direct sales company in 2019 and was with them for almost 2 years. I joined another one soon after that and I was with them for about 6 months. That was when I had a huge epiphany. I needed to make my own company because I knew I could offer more. I have been where a lot of women have been. So here we are, building Axxis Beauty and I am loving every minute of it.

Now, you probably notice I didn’t bring Ryan up much yet because Ryan is more than a paragraph of a few sentences. He is my rock, my protector, he keeps me grounded, and supports me every single day. Without him life wouldn’t be the same. I truly know he is my soul mate and I thank the keeper of the stars for blessing him into my life. He is such an amazing Dad and husband. He works as in the food industry and a plant operations manager. So yes when you eat a burger at McDonalds, or buy beef from Walmart, most likely Ryan could have had something to do with it. Ryan can see himself in politics one day so maybe that will be something he does next. He has a passion and knack for leadership. It is something I strive to incorporate into my own ways. He knows how to treat people, talk to people, and teach people. It is a treat for anyone who crosses his path. He is one swell guy, it must be the Texan in him. He went to school in Texas and there is where he graduated High School and played that well known Texas Football. He went to Texas A&M and earned a degree in Agricultural Economics. He likes to watch sports, especially if it’s Texas A&M or the Green Bay Packers. He is your typical Dad who likes to mow, play video games with the boys, grill, (which by the way he is an amazing cook) and is always taking care of more duties than he needs to. Together you can find us in the kitchen cooking together, sitting outside watching the sunset, dancing in the kitchen, and playing with the kids. We have three boys and here is a little bit about them.

Our oldest son Jordan enjoys science and reading books. Being the biggest brother has a lot of responsibilities like doing chores and helping around the house. He does a great job of it. I cannot believe he will be 10 years old in March. His passion for animals makes me so proud to see him have love for something other than video games. Yes he is your typical 9 year old boy who likes to play games but, I can’t deny I play with him from time to time. That’s the tomboy in me.

Jaxon is our middle son. Oh Jax, he is a pistol. He rules the roost around here especially with his Dad. It really is his way or no way. Jordan and him wrestle and you wouldn’t believe that kid is only 3 years old because he has the talent and drive of a teenager whenever he wrestles or plays any sports. He keeps us on our toes but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Jhett is the baby of the family. Our family needed him more than we realized. He is seriously sweet as sugar and lights up the room with every smile he makes. He has two teeth on the bottom and will be crawling very soon. His big brothers do everything to protect him and they even fight over him.

Having three boys was made for me especially since I am a tomboy at heart. People ask if we are going to have more. For now, let’s just see where life takes us.

Thanks for reading about the Meszewski’s. I am excited to share more about our life and the company we are building together.
